Take a deep dive into the five:
1. Supreme and Nike announce their 2024 Spring collection
Supreme and Nike are back, this time with their 2024 Spring collection. It features a selection of apparel including hoodies, outerwear, polo shirts, shorts, sweatpants, and bucket hats. The collection blends sportswear and New York skate style seamlessly. This dropped on the 18th of April, evoking a retro and nostalgic mood with the pieces perfectly capturing cues and codes from both labels.

2. NBA Playoffs Kicks Off
This weekend saw the NBA Playoffs return, opening with the Orlando Magic at the Cleveland Cavaliers. Followed by Anthony Edwards announcing himself with 33 points, all while barking at his own ‘GOAT’ Kevin Durant. The playoffs is a moment in time for the purest of hoops, with referees hesitating to blow the whistle for every little foul. The Denver Nuggets stood on business as the defending champions won against 7th seed Los Angeles Lakers who were looking for ‘revenge’ from last year. Some other winners include the Oklahoma City Thunder winning their first playoff game since 2020 after some ‘experts’ dubbed them one of the worst number 1 seeds of all time. LA Clippers, unsurprisingly, were without Kawhi Leonard for Game 1 at home against a Dallas Mavericks team that struggled to get their offence going early. Game 2 for the Nuggets vs Lakers, Magic vs Cavaliers & 76ers vs Knicks will all be played tonight.

3. Jude Calls Game On The El Classico
His magical debut season at the Los Blancos continues with another last-minute winner to seal Madrid’s sweep of the El Classico. Barcelona led twice before Vinicius Jr scored the equaliser only for Bellingham to wrap it up. The win leaves them top of the league by 11 points with six games left, and the title essentially heading to the capital for the 36th time. This is following a midweek Champions League quarter-final match that went to penalties against the reigning Champions of Europe. Well, this season from Jude and Real Madrid is one straight from the script.

4. Jules Koundé The Face Of New Adidas Samba Campaign
The Barcelona defender linked up with the Three Stripes for the brand’s latest Samba campaign. In the campaign, he rocks three classic Samba colourways with fits featuring a satin Adidas tracksuit, cargo shirts, a gilet and jeans. The Frenchman’s latest collab follows the trend of footballers linking up with the fashion industry. From Trent Alexander-Arnold flying out to Milan Fashion Week with Prada to Declan Rice featuring in Aimé Leon Dore’s London focused campaign.

5. Drake vs Kendricks Heats Up as Chris Brown and Quavo Begins
Drake has officially released his leaked, we say this very loosely, diss track towards Kendrick Lamar and the rest of his enemies in this Hip-Hop civil war. The song was initially uploaded to Twitter or X, with fans speculating it to be a product of artificial intelligence (AI). The Toronto rapper has since trolled his rivals on social media, for example sending drums outside of Magic City in Atlanta after telling Metro Boomin to essentially go and make some drums. Another piece of rap beef that’s kicked off is Chris Brown and Quavo, following the former’s diss track dropping last Friday. The issues between the two hasn’t always been public but videos of Brown calling out the Migos member in basketball in 2021 and 2022 seemed to be fun in nature but we guess not. Something tells us that Quavo’s response is being written as we speak…..
